NEGATIVE PAINTING GREETING CARD WORKSHOP

In this beginner workshop, you will learn to create negative space lettering and how to use water-based markers, pencils or paints to create abstract watercolour backgrounds to compliment your message. After creating the image greeting, you will then cut, paste and arrange paper elements to assemble the card. Lettering templates will be provided. (via Zoom)

Lettering Template
Small Brush
Wax stick
Yellow Saral Transfer Paper sheet
Waterbased art materials - Watercolours, Watercolour Pencils OR Watercolor Brush Pens 2-3 colours (make sure colours are bright and different from each other )
Plain White 4.25 x 5.5 inch card + Envelope
Coloured Paper/Card Stock
Mixed media paper
2x sided Tape
Wax Paper
Glue Stick
Pencil
Washi, Masking or Scotch Tape
Small Brush (if using Watercolours)
Small Spay Bottle or Old Clean Toothbrush
Scissors
Small container of water
Small Brush

* Your Art Kit will include all supplies listed above except the spray bottle/toothbrush, scissors and container of water. For the water-based materials, you will receive 3 brush pens with colours that complement each other and work well together.
